報告人簡(jiǎn)歷:Dr. Ademola Braimoh is a Professor at the Center for Sustainability Science, Hokkaido University, and Executive Director of the Global Land Project, Sapporo Nodal Office in Japan. A former postdoctoral fellow of the United Nations University, Dr. Braimoh studied Geographical Information Systems and Remote Sensing at the University of Cambridge, UK and holds a Ph.D. in Geography from the Center for Development Research, University of Bonn, Germany. His research interests include application of geospatial technology for land-change studies, vulnerability assessment and environmental management. He is currently coordinating a project on Management of Ecosystem Services in Asia. His most recent publication is "Land Use and Soil Resources," an edited volume that analyzes the pattern, driving factors and socioeconomic impacts of land degradation across world regions.
